I can confirm that the wddm 9.17.9.4 driver is avaiable on the Microsoft Windows Update site.
At the moment, I cannot provide a firm date for the release of VMware Tools 13.0.0.0.
Will keep ypu posted as further details become publicly available.
Thanks,
John

Hello Support,
It has been quite some time. Is there any updates on the v13 release? I have seen no changes from Windows Update in addition some customers may have restricted access to Windows Update in their environments. Right now there are many customers waiting!! At some point, we may no longer be able to recommend VMWare as a compatible platform for our products.
Just to reiterate: Seeing MAJOR OpenGL related issues in any version of VMWare Tools 12.5 or higher..
Thanks,
Jason

This issue should be fixed in upcoming VMware tools release. Windows updates should also get proper fix driver in few weeks.
Thanks.

Hello Everyone,
Seem to have an OpenGL related crash/stop issue with the latest VMWare Tools version VMware-Tools-windows-12.4.5-23787635.zip. Having to revert to previous working version VMware-Tools-windows-12.4.0-23259341.zip.
Seeing this issue also on our customer systems running ESXi 8.0 Update 3 and 8.0 Update 2. This is our primary concern since we are the vendor of the software which is being effected. Let me know if this is a known issue with a planned fix or if I can provide any support from our development side. We also tried the "SVGA_ALLOW_LLVMPIPE=0" hack which seemed to yield partial success..
Thanks,
Jason
