SCO virtual machine with E1000 network adapter fails to respond

    Hi,

    A few months ago I updated an ESXi 5.1 server to 5.5. After this update SCO Unixware was not reachable anymore.

    I found a solution in the following KB article, After upgrading ESXi 5.5 to ESXi 5.5 Update 2 Build 2143827 an SCO Openserver virtual machine with E1000 network adapter…

    I installed the latest patch and SCO was running fine again.

    Yesterday I update the ESXi 5.5 server to ESXi 6.0 and installed the latest patches (build 3825889), the update went fine, but the same problem that I had with 5.5 is now reoccuring.

    So SCO stops responding and connections are closed.

    I am wondering why this issue is back again in ESXi 6 and how to solve this.

    I now downgraded back to 5.5 but I want to install version 6 if possible.
