    I am getting this error running the VDT tool.

    However - when I run the script from: rsyslog stops logging to vmdird and messages in vCenter Server 7.0 (81829) (vmware.com)

    I get this:

    Anyone see this before? Assuming I''ll have to take a crack at the manual process. TIA

    Manually editing the rsyslog.conf file per the KB and restarting the service resolved the issue. Not much too that process.
