    I am planning to set up a baremetal VMware vSphere environment to host an OpenShift cluster. I would like to request a quote and guidance for the following:

    • Baremetal hardware setup suitable for running VMware vSphere with OpenShift workloads

    • Required vSphere licenses (please suggest editions and features best suited for this use case)

    • Estimated cost of the complete VMware setup including licensing

    • Hardware sizing and compatibility recommendations (CPU, RAM, Storage, Networking)

    • Support and maintenance options (if available)

    Please share approximate pricing details or direct me to the appropriate channel to obtain an official quote.

    Hi Pratik,

    Quotes are not something that are done through the community support chat groups in my experience.
    You will need to approach VMware Sales for your company or a VMware reseller.

    As for Openshift, VCF 9 will come with VKS which will have you moving with your container platform faster anyhow so there is no need to pile openshift on top of VCF.
