Replacing expired Vmware-included certificate for VirtualCenter?

Greetings -

I have noticed that at least one of the certificates that are part of my VirtualCenter installation are expired. The client throws a cert. warning when it is launched and I cannot manage VirtualCenter using System Center Virtual Machine Manager with an expired certificate.

I would have thought that upgrading from VC 2.0.2 to VC 2.5 would have included a new cert. Mine shows an expiration date of 3/1/2007.

How do I replace this certificate? I shouldn't have to go buy a cert for this, should I? I would think that Vmware would publish new certs with each release.

What am I missing here?

have you tried renaming the certificates and restarting the VC service?

You'll have to reconnect the hosts when the certificate on the VC changes, because it is used to encrypt the passwords to access them.
