HCX 4,.0 is out of support by the way, you should look to upgrade to 4.11.3 which has LTS.
I'm not aware of any improvements with replication times between 4.10 and 4.11.
What speed are you getting, and what do you expect the product to achieve? Migrations should be planned accordingly after testing in a representative environment.

What about with the latest versions? We are on 4.10, but is there a speed increase in newer versions?

Hi, how do you mean 'speed limit'? Do you mean the highest 'speed' a replication transfer data at? If so, I don't believe that is documented because there are many external factors which can affect it.
Generally, until the latest versions of hbr you could expect up to 4-500 Mbps per VMDK if the underlying storage & network can keep up. But these are not set in stone figures, as mentioned they can vary due to many external factors.

I am looking for a document that specifically states the speed limit for hcx migration/replication per vmdk. Does anyone know where this data is stated?
