Recovery of VCSA with embedded PostGres DB

We are using the VCSA with embedded DB and would like to position ourselves to make recovery from a VCSA issue as simple as possible.

I'm trying to think of what could go wrong with a VCSA and database corruption is the first thing that comes to mind. What other potential issues have been seen with the VCSA itself and what are others doing to protect themselves?

Hello,

you can use any vmware aware software backup to backup the vcsa.

And make a vcsa database consistent backup:
