Hi all, I have a VMFS6 datastore. I Deleted orphaned files from it, but the free space does not get reclaimed.

esxcli storage core device vaai status get -d naa.600062b204b1ce4026b157b4b4e1c955naa.600062b204b1ce4026b157b4b4e1c955
    VAAI Plugin Name:
    ATS Status: unsupported
    Clone Status: unsupported
    Zero Status: unsupported
    Delete Status: unsupported
    [root@esxigene:~] Delete Status: unsupported

How do I overcome this problem?

What kind of storage system (vendor/model/connectivity) do you use?

Hello, it seems you are using a local disk as storage.
    This is not ideal.

Can you share a screenshot indicating the actual usage and the free space?
