power management

what is the true settings on power management mode. I have  HPE ProLiant DL380 Generation 8 so I want to learn that the physical server and esxi power management mode ?

Which are true ? I have read some articles, but can you write the right thing as the example below. we use vcenter 5.5 u2

physical server : high performans

esxi mode : os

or

physical server :balance

esxi mode : balance

It depends on what you want to achieve.

However if you want to achieve stable performance without energy economing choose this:

bios - os control

esxi - high performance
