How I can configure monitoring of changes in file: backup01.log in location in example in c:\Logs
This file is daily recreated.
I need receive alert if this file cannot contain the string "bytes" or if is empty
Please send me very user friendly instruction :)

Hi,
a generic log file tracker is part of every process plugin you deploy. With a process plugin you can monitor several process metrics, you only need to specify the process you want to monitor:
http://support.hyperic.com/display/DOCSHQ30/Process+service
After deploying such a plugin, you need to add the logfiles to track and the sting, for example "bytes".
