  • 1.  Pass a property file from ESXi host to guest VM

    Hi All,

    I came across today with below two scenario and need a help in it.

    1)      I want to pass a property file from ESXi host to guest VM by standing in ESXi host. I can’t use ssh connection since my guest VM will not be configured with network.

    2)      I want to get a property file from ESXi host by standing in guest VM. I can’t use ssh connection since my guest VM will not be configured with network.

    You can try using a serial port on the VM directed to an ESX pipe. Never did, but I think it will not be so difficult... in my ancient times I used a software named "laplink" to copy things over serial ports...
