P2V gives error code 2147754754 and fails

Trying to convert a simple FTP physical server to a virtual server. I have been able to convert many in the last couple of days, but now I run into this one server that will not convert. I go through the logs after the error and I get a error code 2147754754 VSS snapshot creation failed for volume {blah blah blah blah}

Any suggestions?

Yes I have looked at the KB. I am familiar with VSS errors with Microsoft. I can actually create a snapshot manually on the server using the VSSadmin commands.

A disscussion with a variety of ideas though some relate to V2V versus P2V.... Might be worth a read and investigating.

Also, what version of converter are you using? Plug-in to VirtualCenter, standalong 4.1 or standalone earlier? I've found that using the standalong versions are more successful than the VC plug-in and occassionally an older version of the standalone client works when the latest does not. Just throwing out ideas...

Just an FYI. The issue that was causing this error was blocked P2V ports by the firewall.
