VMware NSX

  • 1.  NSX Uplink to pNICs / vmk

I have a heavy background with Cisco networking and for the life of me, having a problem understanding the connection from NSX creating the Uplinks 1 & 2 to the actual ports that lead outside the Edge Server. The pNICs create the vmk then where do you actually bond to the vmk to the corresponding Uplink1 or 2? I understand creating the Uplink Profile, but missing where the actual bond is created,

Is this done inside NSX or actually inside vCenter. Where would I look to see this?

I assume your question is related to Edge uplink ports? Well, Edge is a VM that has four internal interfaces: eth0, fp-eth0, fp-eth1, and fp-eth2.Eth0 is reserved for management and the rest of the interfaces are used for overlay/underlay based on the design.
