not able to type password in to log in Windows

HI, Expert,

 

I recently build new VM and instlal WSR202R2 without error. strange that when open the guest OS console, I could not type password in.

see the mouse hint to input try type in, not acceptable. a few seconds the password box changed to grey.  

Old VM does not have this problem.  I mean I could log in windows from VC Apliance on old VM.

Actin taken as below. Please give advice.

but single host or with vcenter ?

can you use VMRC console to access the VM and let us know if that helps

have you installed vmware tools in that vm ?

I dont think he can install tools as he cannot enter into windows guest OS

if he has vcenter he can install vmtools with automatic install

Install VMRC tool and able to pass Guest log in authentication.

 

I am interesting how to install VM tool automatically without log in guest?

It take me so long time get VM tool installation. I used tab to navigate to mount file to install. So difficult.

Could you give guide automatically install VM tool on VC?
