New 8.0.3 esxi swapped in a 7.0.3 VMFS disk

    I have a 2 esxi 7.0.3 boxes that cannot upgrade to 8.0.3 due to hardware , so I installed esxi 8.0.3 on a 500gb drive and the 2tb drive from the 7.0.3 on hardware that would take 8.0.3 but even though it sees it as VMFS I cannot figure out how to add it as a datastore, any ideas?
