I need some information on VMWARE HYPERVISOR, i want to deploy VM HYPERVISOR on a basic machine for my learning purpose.

I want to install a open source firewall on VM Hypervisor

And if Any Body know which firewall is easy to configure IP COP or PF SENSE

• Is VMWARE HYPERVISOR is Free?
• Is there is any LAN Card Compatibility issue with it?
• AMD Quad Core is Compatible with it or not?
• Which Gigabyte Board is compatible with VM
• I Have only 22k indian rupee to spend

As you are planning to setup a lab for learning purpose you could see if you can use VMware Workstation as an alternative
