We wanted to keep ESXi 7U2  and ESXi 6.7U3 in one cluster for two/three months. vCenter version is 7U2. Now the cluster supports multiple ESXi versions, will there be any problem in keeping multiple versions in one cluster for two three months.?

whats the risks and things to consider?

That should work flawlessly. Remember to create new VMs - if needed - with a hardware compatibility mode that's supported by both versions.

Keep one thing in mind while creating VMs, create them in compatible mode. So you can do vMotions

No issues while using ESXI multiple versions. need to take about do not change or upgrade VM hardware versions , dvswitch versions or vmfs in order to keep it running compatibility with all version.
