for a quick overview you can check the tasks&events tab or the DRS tab from the cluster level

or you can also look at

    /var/log/vmware/hostd.log

Not sure if you wanted to make it easier on you going forward, but this is what I did.

I created an Informational Alarm that sends me an email and text message when something is vmotioned by DRS. I was tired of going through the logs to find what and when it was moving servers.

The two trigger event names I put in the definition are: "VM migrated" and "DRS VM migrated". Under action you can just set "once" on Normal->Warning.

What text would we search for in the log?

I tried the guest name, but I have a lot of "updating current heartbeatStatus:yellow (and green)" messages.

    Thanks,
