  • 1.  Missing vmx file

    My laptop died during the vm running in the background and now I cannot open my vm. Any help is very much appreciated! I'm also a newbie in this field and all extra information is very helpful. attached is the error I am receiving and the latest log

    Is "D:" an internal or external drive?

    Depending on the files in the VM's folder it may be possible to recreate the .vmx file.

    Please run 

    dir "D:\VM\Win 10 RW Mstr 2024\*.*" /one > filelist.txt

    and attach the resulting filelist.txt to your next reply.
