I am getting below errow while I am migrating from vswitch kernel vmk0 to distirbuted switch port group.

Network configuration change disconnected the host 'hostname' from vCenter server and has been rolled back.

A change in the network configuration disconnected the host ' hostname' from vCenter Server. The change has been rolled back.

Vcenter Version is 6.0 with build 2776511

ESXi Host version is 6.0 5572656

I am targeting to move vmk0 to  Red marked dVS port group

I've had this issue in various levels of vcenter & configurations.

Which is why I always move the vmotion vmk over first, then move the vmgmt vmk over second.  A 2 step process.  Takes longer, but almost always works.

Have you configured port channel on your physical switch for vmnic1, 2 &3? Please recheck the configuration, make sure the network to which the host console ip belongs to is allowed on the switch. Thanks!

Compare the configuration of the ports where the source vmnic (vSwitch) and destination vmnics(VDS) are having same configuration. Looks like the vmkernel traffic is not passing via new vmnic which leads to roll back. To isolate this issue further if possible use one nic at a time in VDS instead of 3 nics. This will help to find which vmnic is not sending the traffic or which port has an issue, when you use three nics, it will be hard to find what is the cause.
