  • 1.  memcached availability metric is not working any longer

    Hi,

    We've been using hyperic for about 2 years through several different version of Hyperic Server. After upgrading to 4.6 the memcached resource doesn't work any longer. The availability is 0% even though there is 1 alive memcached process running on the machine. We've tried to remove the resource and register it again, and restart hq agent and even reinstalling hq agent. Seems like there is a bug. Anyone experience the same thing or anyone that know how to fix it?

    Same here. Hyperic 4.6, Memcached 1.4.5 on RHEL.

    Hello

    This is a regression in 4.6. I have logged a bug for this at https://jira.hyperic.com/browse/HHQ-5353

    Until it if corrected you'll need to use 4.5 or earier versions of the agent.
