Long LONG story short I was working with VMware Support today and the tech agent did something while I was AFK (I believe he was using the DCUI inside of the SSH console to restart management services) and now I have an ESXi 4.1 (502767) that when I attempt access from console I get the error "Authentication denied. Direct console access has been disabled by the administrator"
. I am unable to SSH to the box. I am also unable to connect to the host from vCenter. This host has over 60 production VMs on it and if I am forced to reboot this host I am scrabnord when I tell my bosses.
Is there ANYTHING I can do to get those VMs moved off of that host or get the management console back up or anything to avoid a reboot???
