    Hi

    As the title says, I have a Mac Pro 3.1 with an Areca 1882 raid card.

    All supported by Vmware and by Apple.

    I can install Ubuntu etc with no problem.

    I can get to the installer for Lion server but the installer cannot see any virtual disks. I've tried using a sata disk directly plugged into onboard sata but still no joy. hdutil list in terminal shows no installable drives.

    Anyone have any ideas? Hugely frustrating.. I've followed hardware compatability to the letter :smileysad:
