LucD Appreciation Thread

I don't know about the rest of you all, but I wanted to say a big THANKS to all the help and knowledge that Luc has provided to this community.  Not only does he pretty much have an answer to every question he is extremely fast on his responses.

So to you Sir Luc, I say thanks for all your time and effort to helping all of us out on here!

It's the community participation that makes this forum such a great place to hang out at.

In the end, I just like to transfer some of my enthusiasm for these 2 great products, called PowerCLI and PowerShell.

If I didn't like them as much as I do, you would see a lot less of me in here :smileygrin:

It's amazing how many otherwise random google searches with the string powercli come back to the vforums and an answer from LucD. I know I'm probably one of thousands who has otherwise silently benefited from his freely shared scripting excellence.

So thank you, LucD. Please assume that all the silent views of this thread feel the same.

I whole-heartedly support this. A zillion thanks to LucD for all the help that you provide in the forum and in your blog. I learned many a things from your posts/answers. So it's time we start calling you Sir LucD.

@alan, your vCheck script (the original old one) is the one which hooked me into PowerShell and PowerCLI. It was way back to vSphere 4.x when it started. So in a way I am more indebted to you as your script was the one which intrigued me and initiated into this art.

100% agree. Thank you very much Luc for the knowledge you have shared with this community. Using this community posts for few years now i have always managed to grab a script or get answer for my query from Luc. I admire his up-to-point answers with clear and simple descriptions, speed of reply, following up till the end of post with N number of versions till we get expected output. Thumbs up for his excellent blog also!! Much Appreciated!!!!
