    Hi,

The same error was reported in http://communities.vmware.com/message/1576201, but I am not sure if it means anything. Yes, we can drill this down to storage but I am sure this error can be ignored. This error was found in ESX 3.5 and was fixed in the later releases, if possible upgrade the ESX host.

is for questions about the Communities account, UI, etc only. Moving the thread to where questions about ESX belong.

    I found the problem...

When I close one of my VM the log message stop. I look in the log of this VM and I found this:

Jul 26 13:34:17.773: vmx| CDROM-LIN: CDROMHostGenericSendCmdAIOCallbackSGIO: Unexpected error: Inappropriate ioctl for device (6402)

    Jul 26 13:34:17.773: vmx| CDROM ide0:0: CMD 0x5a (MODE SENSE(10)) FAILED (key 0x2 asc 0 ascq 0)

I look the VM setting and CD/DVD was unmanaged. I delete it and recreate it and the message gone.

    Thank
