    you need a separate license for each vcenter.

    I have vCenter standard license and ESX end lice for 88 processors.

    As of now I am using one vCenter .I planned to extend it to another site. Is it equired to buy one vCenter licenese or is there any option to buy

    linked mode along with vCenter.

    Inst and config doc is helpless in this case

    Hi,

    I also foud this information.

    "In order for a VC to be linked to a VC group, it has to have a license which includes Linked Mode feature. Currently only VC Standard edition license includes this feature. So each, every VC in the Linked Mode group must have Standard edition license."

    as I laready have vCenter Standard , I no need to buy additional license, I am right?

    I ma going to install second vCenter Server(will configure in linked mode) , Should I buy another vCenter license? or can I use the same license

    I have confirrmed from the VMware sales team

    need separate license for each vCenter
