  • 1.  Licensing Mode evaluation to perpetual License (subscription License)

    Hello,

    I have some issue when switching a host from evaluation mode to a subscription license.

    When I am on the assignment license the License that I added is not listed only the evaluation mode.

    Maybe I miss something.

    Can you confirm that the license that you've added is for the required major version? e.g. 8.x?

    Log in to the ESX/ESXi host using vSphere Client. Click the Configuration tab. Click Licensed Features under Software. Click Edit under Licensed Features. Select Assign a new license key to this host. Press Enter and enter the License Key. Click OK.

    I tried to find the Licensed Features under Software on Configuration Tab but i didn't figure it out.

    If you post an image of the Licenses screen that lists all your licenses (please mask part of your license keys in the image so you are not publishing them to the world), I will see if I can figure out why the key for which you are looking is not appearing in the assignment dialog.  If your licenses are under support, I suggest opening a support case.
