  • 1.  LDAP User Lookup renders usernames as random chars

    Seems weird.

    Although when a user lookup is conducted through the vSphere Client, initially all the users are listed:

    Then when a specific one is searched for, and there's a match - the returned user is a set of random characters. Each time the 'search' button is hit, it randomises the output.

    Has anyone seen this before?

    What is the version and build of VirtualCenter? Does it happen on a different client machine?

    vCenter 4U1.

    It does indeed happen on another vSphere Client.
