Is it possible to convert / import existing VVF to VCF? If so is it officially documented?

yes it is, simply treat a VVF as an existing vCenter and Operations Manager in the Installer UI and import them - did it in my lab.

    Hi,

Yes it is possible to convert VVF to VCF, you just need to deploy VCF installer and you may import existing vSphere or VVF to VCF. you may follow the given link for same.

In case that you already have VVF 9 you need to deploy SDDC Manager and follow the brown zone procedure to upgrade to VCF (Choose existing vCenter and VCF Operations if already exists)
