Hyperic: Deep level Site check?

Hello,

We have a apache (2.x) server in production and we currently are hosting few sites on it. Is it possible to do a deep level site availability check with hyperic (without custom scripting) (server code...200 if ok....etc) ? I am new at this, any help would be great.
