Hi
My vmware OS is allocated 460Gigs, but is using only 563 megs of that.
Will the converter be able to shrink that...its not a 'virtual machine' though, is it?
Command line?
Thanks
MD
Can you please clarify this. I don't understand where you see this huge disk usage!? ESXi usually requires less than 10GB on a disk (including log/dump partitions).

please refer this picture...this shows the OS with disc sizes, but NOT the virtual machines
The volume on the screenshot is a VMFS3 Datastore, which is used to store the virtual machine's files/folders. It's only the volume name "VMwareOS" (which has definitely been assigned manually) may be misleading.
OK, thanks, I understand that now. So how can I reduce the reported size, to free up space for the virtual machines....or there is not need to do this as that 460gigs of space should be available for virtual machines?
Everything seems to work as expected. The datastore's whole disk space (except for the metadata) is available for virtual machines.
