How can i move one VM template from one datacenter to another DC within a Vcenter

You can browse the datastore where the template is and download it and then you can upload it on one datastore from the other datacenter and register the vm template.

If you have connectivity between the two datacenters you can convert the template to virtual machine and then do a cold migration.

I could see the template Name <Template X>..while i am browsing from the respective datastore and there could see lot of files inside that ...

Is it enough to download the Specific .vmdk file for this template?

Hi.

Convert the Template to VM.

Export the VM to OVF.

Import (Deploy the OVF) at the other datacenter.

Convert VMs back to Template.
