Host TEPs and their port groups

Hi everyone

which port group, NSX-T host TEPs are assigned to?

as I see, their associated port groups are invisible and I think it will cause problems migrating them to another VDS, especially when we have lost our vcenter server.

do you have any idaes about this?

Hosts TEPs -> See VMkernels vmk10/vmk11.

it wont be visible in VDS as TEPs are overlay networks used only for nsx not for vds

as I know TEP vmkernels are not overlay themselves. they just provide encapsulation and decapsulation services but they act as underlay interfaces like other VMkernels. as I've read in documents when a traffic gets encapsulated and the underlay network does not aware of it's contents, it describes as overlay but here we just have traffics that are not different from underlay one. do you have any explanation for this?

and just another point

if they are overlays, they should be associated with an LS. but when I list my LSs I can not see any LS associated with my TEPs.
