    What backup software?

What license do you have for your ESXi host?

Article mentioned "This port and service are not present on a Virtual Center Server/ESX Host and will result in a "cannot connect on socket" failure."

What port/service need to check on esxi , as I checked port 902 and 443 allowed

The mix-up with port 25 is unusual for ESXi-Veritas communication. This port is typically for SMTP, not backup tasks. I'd suggest checking Veritas's configuration to make sure it's aiming at the right ports (443 for HTTPS, 902 for VMware console communications) and not mistakenly set to use port 25. Also, give your firewall and network settings another look to confirm nothing's blocking essential backup traffic. Sometimes, unexpected blocks or misconfigurations can lead to such errors.
