I've been having several issues why my ESXi server.

People here on the forums have been helpful, but there's only so much you can demand from donated support. I'm

starting to get fed up with the instability problems and I think it may just be a

hardware incompatibility. I'm wondering if anyone here could recommend

a very stable motherboard to me.

I don't care about the make, or model, but I would

like it to have on-board video and an on-board GbE NIC. Also I'd like to

use it with an Intel E6600 CPU, so that means socket 775.

Thank's again for the help. This is one of the best support forums around.

Have a look at some whitebox configurations:

In my opinion. Intel motherboards are the best and most stable for server environments. I ran a E8500 with an Intel DG33TLM, and now a Q9550 with an Intel DQ45CB, both run flawlessly. So if I were you, go for Intel.

I like the DQ45CB, but I would like at least 2 PCIe x16 slots. Do you know of an Intel board that's like the DQ45CB but has 2 or more x16 slots?
