  • 1.  HA cluster Failover host in admission control policy

If i am using this option on HA cluster then if i will try to power on the vm's on that host then it's not possible but if before using this admission control policy a vm is already running on that host and then i am enabling this admission control policy then it's not a problem. Any idea to anyone?

Since no VMs should ever be running on such host it is natural that you can't power on or vMotion VMs to it after enabling this Admission Policy.

If you have a VM running it might just not move by itself, and expects you do empty the host.

    Hello Ranjna,

I recommend you to use "Percentage of cluster resources..."

    % = 100/(# of hosts)

    example:  4 hosts = 25% CPU and 25% Memory
