hi all, got a quick question here, i have a 2-node ha/drs cluster, what I noticed today is that the HA advanced options for this cluster is empty, see the screen-print, should the default settings be populated when the cluster is created? or it should be empty by default? I have vCenter 4.0u1 and esxi 4.0u1

    thanks,

That's correct, by default there are no defined HA advanced options. There are a few listed in the vCenter & ESX(i) installation and management that explains a few of them that can be used.

As written by William, on vSphere those options are empty by default.

On VI 3.x (the previous generation), I think to remember that there were a couple of option by default.

In a 2 nodes HA cluster I suggest be sure that the default gateway is pingable and is "stable", otherwise add another test point (to identify in a clear way the isolation status).
