I'm obviously having difficulties with a P2V of a Server2008R2 with a GPT boot disk. Will the GPT VMDK be bootable in a newly created Virtual in VMWare V5?

Hi, I had the same issues when migrating w2k8 R2 into esxi 5 on my home lab, I had followed the following links which helped me running

    Thanks

Thanks. But I was looking for a simpler solution. I read that V5 supports gpt and will create gpt by default for new vm's. If so then can I create a new vm with an existing c: drive gpt vmdk and successfully boot (for a >2T data store). Thoughts?
