Generating Reports in VR

Hi Guys,

I would just like to find if there is a way to generate a report for 14 of my VM's that im replicating to DR using VR and SRM. I would like to see how much of data is been sent across the line for a weekly and monthly period.

I am aware of the VR capacity tool but not sure if you can set this up after SR is configured and the reports under VR are not very helpful.

Hi,

You can query vCenter (API/DB) for events posted by the source ESXi at the replicated VM. Look for event id prefixed with hbr.primary.

You can see the available data through the Web Client / VI Client at the recent events for the VM.

Somewhere on the Internet there was an example powershell script to do this query - specifically for VR events.
