    Hello

Zero ideas what's going on with VMware. Originally a fusion player version was installed on my 2018 Macintosh long ago. Recently get greedy with Pro edition goes free. I mean that player version literally want people to use downscale resolution was so evil who have done this. XDD

Any of you have answer to this problem?

    Anyway. Follow the guide here

Migrating from Player edition to Pro Edition

Long story short. It doesn't work. So I decides go clean by uninstall it, then fresh reinstall, Doesn't work either.

The player edition license just stay there. It's like a curse. I just can't shake it off.

Few dictionaries went through here and there. Doesn't work.

VMware Folders: Inside the Library folder, navigate to the following locations and delete any folders named "VMware":

    • ~/Library/Preferences
    • ~/Library/Application Support
    • related to VMware Fusion. These are typically located in:
      • ~/Library/Logs/VMware Fusion
      • ~/Library/Caches/com.vmware.fusion

I've posted like ages ago. Dafuq take that long make it through. This place sucks!

Anyway. I found my way just delete anything that looks like VMware things in this location.

    • ~/Library/Preferences

    Remove licensekey

    #sudo rm /Library/Preferences/VMware\ Fusion/license-fusion-13*

You need to remove the license key

    > sudo rm /Library/Preferences/VMware\ Fusion/license-fusion-13*
