  • 1.  Evaluation license expired after NTP

    Posted Dec 06, 2019 04:12 PM

Hello, i'm currently doing a school project and I updated my NTP on vsphere, and now my evaluation license is expired :smileysad:

I managed to reset them on the ESXI's but no luck with vcenter..

How can I reset/reapply my vcenter evaluation license? I really don't have time to build vcenter from scratch again, thank you..

Consider a VMUG Advantage membership - it will give you 365 days usage of many VMware products for $200:

    https://www.vmug.com/membership/vmug-advantage-membership

There's also a 10% discount with code ADVNOW

I only need this project for 14 more days, so not looking to spend $200 just for this sorry.

Then build a new vCenter instance and add the hosts to it.

I dont know if it'll work. But you could try to make a backup of the vCenter from the VAMI interface. Then upon redeploying vCenter you simple point to the backup. Worth a shot...

I ended up reinstalling everything as I could use the experience anyway.
