esxi upgrade and unsupported existing vibs

Hi Everyone ,

I am very new to upgrading esxi hosts.  I have read that sometimes an unwanted existing driver vib may hinder upgrade of an esxi host.

I have tried upgrades using update manager - if there is a failure in upgrade the update manager tells the reason why and vib behind the problem.

What happens incase if we do the upgrade using ISO, how could I find such unsupported vibs where to look , have anyone encountered such situation before.

Hi Mario,

If you upgrade using ISO you will get that warning as well with the conflicting vibs.
