    Posted Jun 09, 2010 09:07 AM

    Hi,

    is the following possible:

    2x ESX4 in Subnet 192.168.1.0 /24

    2x ESX4 in Subnet 192.168.2.0/24

    I want to use DRS & HA in this cluster.

    Thx in advance!

    There must be network connectivity between these ESXes on SC. It does not really matter if they are in same or different subnets.

    Yes it does matter, you will need to disable the network check. HA will check if networks are compatible or not. If it not the same network it will fail.

    Setting the following in the Advanced Settings of HA will enable you to use two different networks:

    das.bypassNetCompatCheck = true
