    Hello, my dear friends!

    I use Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS as a host, also same Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS
    as Guest OS on VMware® Workstation 17 Pro 17.6.4 build-24832109

    Receive this error
    Error toggling removable device: Failed to connect virtual device 'ethernet1'.

    Tried to change Network settings (NAT, bridge etc) - nothing helps.

    Tried

     sudo modprobe -a vmw_vmci vmmon
    sudo systemctl restart vmware-networks.service
    get this:




    Same VM on Mac works well, no errors with network. 

    How to fix it, who knows? 

    Any solution?

    Hello anybody?

    It seems that no more any support for free products (but when I bought it few years ago - I paid for support also).

    In chat support they forward me here, but in community no any help also.

    In google there is no solutions.

    How to fix this problem?
