    Posted Oct 06, 2011 03:37 PM

    Hello,

I'm about to clone a Windows 2003 Server that runs on a VMWare ESXi. The attached log shows error 67109009 but I can not figure out what this about.

The clone goes to a mapped drive Z: on another Windows Server. I'm administrator on that machine as well as on the machine I want to clone and I have mapped the share using my admin account.

The converter starts and creates some files but stops at 0% with the error in the subject. There is enough space on the Z drive. I can convert another machine using the same credentials and settings without problems.

    Any ideas?

    Regards,

    Michael

    Hi,

you may read in the log file that the sysprep files are missing. That was true at that moment but in the meantime I copied them to the given directory, run the converter again and got the same error.

    Michael

    Hello Michael

    The log reads:

DISKLIB-SPARSE: "z:\Clients\Demo_52f\Demo_52f.vmdk" : failed to grow disk: The specified network name is no longer available

Try providing the network path instead of mapping to Z:

BTW I've noticed you are using Converter 4.0.1. You may want to upgrade to 5.0.

    Plamen

    Hi Plamen,

    thanks for your answer.

Using the network path did not solve the problem but using the new version did.
