Downloading got stuck

i saw someone with the exact same problem there wasn't any working solution for this. all options were grayed out except for the cancel button. it has been stuck for more than half an hour now. is there any solution other than to cancel and try again?

it doesn't seems to be vmware issue.. check your network speed and to isolate, is the download speed / status same on other machines in same network ?

It takes a while, but it finishes. Just wait patiently
