I am an individual user looking to download the free version of VMWare WOrkstation Pro.
1) I have a profile filled out - no issue there - followed all the rules
2) have waited many days for this issue to clear - nothing yet
3) went through exactly this issue last year around version 17.
I am opening a duplicate thread because other treads that covers this issue seem to be locked to new replies.
I am now in the second round of exactly this same issue. Last yuear I went through many hoops and phone calls and many complaints to get this fixed.
I don't remember exactly what worked - I think it may have even required a phone call to support.
I'd like to update to version 25, but here I am again with EXACTLY the same issue - it's very frustrating and frankly infuriating!
I am coming to the conclusion that Broadcom is not really commited to this product and if it is, it's not interested in allowing non-paying users access for the personal projects - if that's that's the case fine, just say so so we can all move to another product and stop wasting our time on this one.
PLEASE TELL US, ARE YOU GOING TO SUPPORT THIS PRODUCT? If not, we'll move on - nothing to see here.
