Hi,
I have one host which is in vCenter server. It has only one NIC card and i moved its network from standard switch to Distributed switch. I created 3 Port groups Primary VLan (pvlan), community vlan and isolated VM (You can see in below image). But this Portgroup VLANS are getting IP address 169.254.*.* except default portgroup (dvPortGroup) only VMs under this are getting IP address.
Can somebody help me to occupy IP address in VMs of created portgroup. My exact requirement and purpose behind this is i have to create VLAN in same network which can block communication with other VLAN.
Hope you guys got my question and help me to find some workaround it. FYI i have enabled the promiscuous mode and other security features enabled for testing but nothing worked,
