  • 1.  Diffrent build numbers vcsa web and vami?

    Posted Apr 16, 2021 07:10 AM

    Hi there

I recently upgraded my vcsa to 7.0.1.00300.

    VAMI page shows:

    VSpher webclient page shows:

    That is OK?
I am wondering if the version number should match or not!?

    Greetings

Doesn't seem okay to me . Was the upgrade /patching successful ?

They ideally should be same.  https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2143838

Thank you. I checked for that. Seems the build verison numbers match according to that KB.

Maybe its a bug? I dont know. If you say that there should be .300 too on the vcenter about web page. The update went through without any problems / errors.

My apologies. They will remain different in 7.0 version till 7.0U1d. From 7.0 U2 the plan is to keep them same.

    I deployed a 7.0U1d and checked.
