    hi,

what is the difference between vmkernel and hypervisor?

vmkernel is the core of hyperisor?

is this the reason why vmkernel control the vmotion, iscsi, nfs and management acces?

vCenter is different entity which isn't a hyper-visor, so it doesn't have vmkernel, vmkernel is the heart of ESXI hypervisor which handles all important network, storage and compute functions on ESXI. For deep understanding, please refers to vSphere Documentation Center
